Legong Dance of the Virgins Live at the Castro

	On May 9, 1999, Gamelan Sekar Jaya and Club Foot Orchestra accompanied Legong Dance of the Virgins, at the Castro Theater. This show was recorded by Dick Deluxe and features impassioned playing, plaintive moments and amazing audience interactions that did not make it onto the DVD release.
The score was composed by Richard Marriott and I Made Subandi. Efforts were made to use the appropriate traditional music during ceremonies and dances. The gamelan musicians played instruments from the Gong Kebyar and Angklung ensembles. Gender Wayang was also used.
